now see- I really dont think an Earthquake, shut downs whether they last a week or 1 month, or some key consolidation will really change the sector over the next 2 quarters.. The supply thats out there is mind boggling..

Memory is in freefall right now..its actually accelerating over the last 10 days.. I can get you a 512mb/pc133 for nearly $100.. thats for top of the line.. Wanna get some used cisco or other product which is essentially the same stuff- $75... This same module was about $500-600 not 6 months ago..

``We are not losing money in our mainstay 128Mb chips,'' a company official said. ``We also expect hefty sales from non-memory chips.''

--- when Samsung made these comments, was it before or after 128mb fell to around $30 on Friday afternoon?? : )
