I agree that things could go either way still. I'm just not convinced we have the sentiment needed to sustain a multi-week rally which is what is implied if we move up from here. I also find it strange that the commercials are putting on new shorts right before a multi-week rally but of course its possible they're wrong or very early.

John, looks to me like volume was lighter on this sell-off today (Dow and Compx) than last Thurs/Fri.'s up....does that give you any reason for pause here, or can da bear argument explain that away? (As you know, I like the bear argument, but it appears the bulls just added a bit, if even small bit, of ammo today, I'd think) I s'pose the bears can counter that we had to real follow-thru to Thurs.' gap up move...gg
