What a cop out!!!! A civilization as old as China's can't manage to do what their fellow Chinese have managed to do in Taiwan? What so good about Taiwan ? Did you see 2 Taiwanese Congresswomen having a fist fight ? well ... not nearly fist ... I would say cat-style clawing .... Ha Ha what a scene! And there a male party representative attacked a speaker and chase him around the hall. What a laugh! And foreign threats??!!! Against a nation that can raise an army of 200 million????!!!! 200 million cannot defend against terrorist acts. And what if Russia and India attack the Chinese .... and not to mention about the build-up military of Taiwan ... But if you can't oppose those with power, there is nothing to prevent leaders from abusing that power. I agree that leaders shouldn't abuse their power. Among the elitists, their power are pretty much "checked". So they'd better not to get revealed of their misdeeds. But it is way better than having foreign nations abused their power over Chinese territories and the people. The elitists have learnt that lesson in the history. I guess you have to look at certain things in different perspectives .... like what would you do if you were a Palestinian, living in the Mideast, having your home torned off by force. Think of you as a minority there and no majority of people are willing to hear your voice, even though you have rights to speak out against other races. Tell me ...
