I will never really know that our universe is not just a fart blown out the ass of an aging wino in somebody else's universe. This hypothesis was examined thoroughly by Lemke, Mathers, Sperling (1977). There has recently been a revival of interest aroused by the work of Vitis Victus of the American Society of Enology and Viticulture. The work of Mr. Victus, however, has come under heavy criticism since the revelation of his affair with the vine. It is one of those scientific theories which always seems to stand upon wobbly legs, but can never be entirely counted out.
