If you mean StockCharts.com vs DWA's MSFT - I don't see much difference in the charts besides the date markings.

The date markings are different on the StockCharts.com site because I use a non-standard method of doing the markings as I find the "classic" method deceiving.

Basically the month markings on my StockCharts.com charts are placed where the chart and price was on the first trading day of the month, regardless of when the box was first filled in. The classic method puts the marking on the first box that is filled in a month. The difference is that when you are looking at a P&F chart, a month marking on a classic chart might actually have happened on the last day of the month and since these markings are supposed to give you some indication of time - you are easily deceived into thinking that the month marking is actually towards the beginning of the month and your mental time scale is put off.

I prefer to look at a P&F chart and use the month markings as an indication of what the prices did over the months in a more intuitive manner - the month marking means where the chart/price was at the beginning of the month. I find this to be less confusing.
