If you do not wish to have children, that is your absolute right. You may want to call it selfish, but no matter, you have no say. You say you believe in the right to life, but do not recognize that very right in the parent, as natural law - the ownership of one's own life and the obligation of others to not interfere, insofar as they do not violate your rights.

I never claimed I held the view that having a child is surrendering 18 years. From the point of view of someone who does not want a child, it surely must seem an unwilling sacrifice.

As to your arguing from emotion, that is fine. But it gets us no where, quick. It is the argument of those who have nothing to argue. I am sorry we must disagree.
