PolyMedica To Remain On NASDAQ

WOBURN, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 20, 2001--PolyMedica Corporation (NNM:
PLMD) today reported that it will not be listed on the New York Stock Exchange
on July 23, 2001 as previously announced. The New York Stock Exchange notified
the Company earlier this morning that it had changed it's decision to list the
Company, but has not informed the Company of its reason for doing so. [hint: Govt Agency,
3 letters,& the first letter is not A,B, C, D or E]


The New York Stock Exchange has informed the Company that it would be pleased to
consider a new application from the Company.
