Dan, your making two very conflicting points in one post:

1) I'd guess they'll beat the 10 cent projection by a penny or two, and report a small increase in units sold.
2) So Intel will report, once again, that while this quarter was bad, next quarter will be great.

If Intel beats projections by a cent or two, then Q2 results would have been excellent, not "bad" as you say Intel will report.
