The first pertains to society's legal system when disagreements can be solved in court. The second and third pertain to disagreements that can be solved in the church (see chapter 5) The fourth is a killer verse. The religous leaders allowed circumcision on the Sabbath, amongst other things. But Jesus wasn't even allowed to show mercy!
