SEMICON West-
The Street will be paying close attention to SEMICON West, the semiconductor capital equipment's big shindig this week in San Francisco. Most of the previews have been negative. CS First Boston says the news flow from the conference should be negative, while UBS Warburg lowered estimates on several semi equipment stocks ahead of the gathering. Fortunately, investor expectations are already pretty low, so the gloominess shouldn't hit the stocks too badly.
