JW:

I've been awfully busy--my excuse for such a late reply.

My next-door neighbor and I went together on a well. The first one found a water flow of 2-3 gpm--not enough for either of us. The second well brought in 22-24 gpm--ideal. So, we put in all the underground piping to connect to out irrigation systems, etc. Total cost to me was a little more than $14,000. A month later the well went dry. He has been running all over the world so much that we have done nothing for almost a year now. Once he lights, we hope to deepen than well (now at about 400 feet) and find more water. Ah, for life in California!
