Eerie feeling.. .NVLS tonite.. AMAT not so sure things are recovering as fast as they "should"... whatever "should" really is, not that investors really have a clue anyways what's going on while analyts parade themselves.

NVLS should be better than AMAT. There is no doubt that a large part of the drop today has to do with the AMAT cc that is going on.
The big question is whether the semiconductor companies are doing well. Semis themselves are the ones to watch. At this point , i am not looking at the semi equipment stocks.

The big one is going to be Intel, imho. Their forward looking comments are going to be the key. My bet would be that the market buys up the stocks and others in the sector ahead of the earnings.

Will find out soon enough.

What will be interesting is how the semis do..starting with Intel tomorrow. Of course, it does not look good for the bulls at this point but we have not even hit 2pm yet. AMAT cc just finished now.
