PW made a very good point. Be sure your powerquest disk actually starts the Drive Image program from the floppy before you format the boot drive.

So the process is, boot from floppy, run PQDI from disk two of the Drive Image set. If the Drive Image Program starts as it should, you might locate the image you want to restore just to be sure all is as you think it is.

Then exit the Drive Image program. This will bring you back to dos. Put the boot floppy back in, format the drive you want, then switch disks and run the Dive Image Program again. Restore the image.

I just wanted to reinforce PW's point that you MUST have a functioning Drive Image floppy disk. It's a good idea to verify this before formatting the hard drive.
