Bad analogy for you, because it shows how wrong you are.

Twelve Dem Senators voted for the Bush tax cut. Not any of them are conservatives. They are at best "moderates", like Dem Condit.

Apparently you can't read ratings from the ACU and the ADA. You have some figment in your imagination that confounds reality. Anyone to the right of Barney Frank is apparently a conservative to you.

Moderate Dem Condit tries to pull a Clinton:

Just how much of a jerk is Democrat Gary Condit? Newsweek's Michael Isikoff reports that police asked Condit whether he was "intimate" with Chandra the last time he saw her, on April 29. "According to two sources, Condit told them he couldn't recall."
