The "revisit" isn't all that bad by itself. It's more of how he got there. The two articles and his testimony of a half hour ago, gives a pretty strong impression [that's understatement] that he didn't get all the facts in the first place, didn't consider how he was actually going to fund the proposal [worry about that later], didn't fully consider the ramifications of the decisions or some very obvious trade-offs, and didn't consult with Congress or the military. The later doesn't build confidence in the eyes of either the military or the Congress. jttmab
