Just in the interest of truth...

In a press release today Thermoview (THV), a company associated with REFR and mentioned in a recent report by Manuel Asensio, claimed Asensio's report to be in error, inasmuch as he claimed there to be a indirect connection between THV and David P. Yeaman, convicted of securities fraud, wire fraud, and conspiracy, via Yeaman's one-time holdings in the shell company that THV reverse-merged into to gain listing on the American Stock Exchange.

THV attributed the error to confusion between company names, stating that Jackal Industries, Inc., Yeaman's company, had no connection with Jackal, Inc., a former name of the company Thermoview merged with.

However, an SEC filing from 1997 would appear to tell a different story...

Bill, did Asensio lie?

THV was accused by Asensio of being involved with some weird bad guy. This is because THV is a licensee of REFR.

At the end of the following press release they responded:
biz.yahoo.com

<bThermoview was founded in April 1998 as a result of a name change from Oak Hill, Inc., a Nevada corporation. Oak Hill, Inc. was originally organized in 1988 as Jackal, Inc. A July 12 news release issued by NASD member Asensio and Company, a company which actively engages in short-selling transactions, contains erroneous statements about ThermoView and its formation.

Jackal, Inc., organized in Nevada, has no connection with Jackal Industries, Inc., a Utah corporation founded in 1986 and subsequently reorganized in Nevada in 1993. The July 12 news release indicated that ThermoView consummated a reverse merger in 1997, when in fact the merger took place in April 1998. Also the July 12 news release incorrectly indicated that ThermoView merged with Jackal Industries, Inc. and had some association with a former officer and director of Jackal Industries, Inc.

``We have no knowledge of any past or present association with Jackal Industries, Inc. or David Yeaman as suggested in Asensio and Company's press release,'' stated Smith.

So, tell me how great the DD of Asensio is when he just wants to TALK a company down that has nothing wrong with it. Is this the best you can feed him to regurgitate in his self-serving PR?

Keep bashing REFR. The facts are way against you.
