<One "joke" like that on one of the QCOM boards and there would have been a hundred e-mails to si-techsupport@go2net.com.
I'm getting really tired of this endless misuse of an otherwise great thread - I do not want for SI to turn into the Yahoo NOK board - if you know what I mean.....

Quite right Lars. Now, if we can just get Puck to stay in his cave, the thread will improve. If you could avoid writing off topic posts in response to Caxton's amusing commentary on the problems of GPRS, the thread bloat would reduce further. I would not have been prompted to contribute my own thread bloat.

What you could do, is start a Nokia Moderated Thread, with full banning privileges, just as Ramsey did for Mighty Q! That way, there could be a pure thread, with no Puck Muck [you should ban him/her immediately to avoid pollution].

It's easy and fun!

Meanwhile, I am considering reporting you to SI for TOU violation [use of sh*t word though you used an asterisk instead of an i] and off-topic posting. Please tidy up your act.

GPRS remains dead in the water in NZ. I have just [right then] checked with Vodafone and GPRS is still 4 to 6 weeks away. But I have checked every month since December and it has always been 4 to 6 weeks away. So it must be getting close now. But they've missed winter, so I won't need the heating function and cdma2000 1xRTT will be available from Telecom New Zealand's new CDMA network.

So, go and start a new thread RIGHT NOW and I will come and post some good GPRS market information. Don't forget to ban Puck.

This used to be an excellent thread in the good old days until the polluters arrived. I tried getting it back on track, but it's difficult.
