Well hey! Lets not ask them to do away with all our deductions! We already pay too much!

I think we should throw away the tax book and start from scratch. Too many ammendments to the tax rules, most make no sense to the average person (namely me!), there's a whole lotta people that can't afford a good CPA and they get hosed each and every single year, and the ones that can afford a good CPA still get wet.
