Elmer, <<<How could they accomplish this? Intel is everywhere. AMD has committed all their resources to processor development and has little cash to toss around acquiring other companies. AMD is committed and I see little chance of them diversifying their product line and unfortunately, it is Jerry's purpose in life to attack Intel's boot with AMD shareholders faces.>>> That is what Jerry Sanders is getting the big bucks to do. To come up with creative solutions. He doesn't have to do everything that Intel does. He could do other things like mobos, dram, become and oem, develop computers for specific market niches, acquire SGI. There must be hundreds of things he could do to distinguish AMD from Intel. Mary
