Hi Malcolm, I agree, it's a good future. I work at Oracle and I'd love to see one of Larry Ellison's NC's imbedded in the door to my fridge. If I can click on "more Macaroni" and have Kraft send it directly to me (swapping the cost of delivery to me in exchange for the supermarket mark-up), I think that's part of the future.

It would be interesting to reach a point where nothing but perishables are sold diectly from stores.

Peapod is still just hiring cheap labor to walk around the markets and do the buying for you, so it's more of a service company than an online delivery company.

Still, although I didn't expect them to take off, I was thinking of buying them at 16 or so, however I'm glad I didn't!
