I guess you can understand that it is indeed a hot button. Maybe you are young, but if you review the 20th century and ask Jay, conflict and war has cost the world hundreds of millions of lives and incalculable economic destruction. War and the threat of it has dominated my life like a blanket of doom, omnipresent, but fortunately for me, a distant ghost compared with the daily nightmare under which so many people live. I can't do much about entropy or the universe collapsing, but I can argue against the fairly common, mad and insane idea that war is somehow 'good' in an economic sense, for its own sake, not as a necessary part of staying alive and in business when alpha male nutcases such as Hitler, Saddam, Stalin and Mao get dreams of glory in their stupid heads. We have not evolved very far from chimps but unfortunately, the semi-chimps in charge get hold of the products of highly intelligent people who build amazing weapons based on the technology of genius. MAD = mutually assured destruction. That was the Cold War which has covered all my life. I am hot-buttoned by MAD people. I should blow them up in a pre-emptive strike. Mqurice
