Recall how worried some were that a Y2K problem with one electric company that resulted in taking out a power grid might have a domino effect on other grids. Well... it appears that while the first part of said predicament never came to pass, the theory, based on the historic outages of the last few days, seems to have been sound. Which, of course, raises the question of why such a scenario didn't alarm anyone enough to try to fix it years ago.

2004 is the first post-Y2K-fiasco year that is a leap-year.

I wonder how many leap-year calculation errors will be discovered?

How many March 1's will come too soon?

How many February 30's will there be?
