cfoe: (OT as you say) Yes.

It is true that hedge funds only exacerbate difficult/dangerous situations which the countries slid into.

And all is fair in currency speculation.

But the social and economic results within the country affected are sad to behold.

And usually the taxpayers here and elsewhere directly and/or indirectly finance trying to put Humpty Dumpty back together again.

I understand, but shudder at the cost to those who are hit..
