Davis had to get rid of them. The State Controller wouldn't pay them because they had a conflict of interest. One, I believe, still had a consulting contract with So. Calif. Edison! Davis claimed their (State of California) interests were the same as SCE so there was no conflict, a quite incredible statement, .....:)
