Seems similar the LEAP Wireless's "Cricket" service, strictly local with add ons for "long distance".

And what is fascinating is whether this is a "loss leader" to bring customers in.

Will be fun to see how this goes, and would be most interesting to see the relationship of GPRS costs to AWE and to the customer.

At least this is not Globalstar pricing !
