that was then...this is now,funny you should mention polaroid and xerox... now lets say all your gorilla and chimp stocks go the way of polaroid and xerox and their best days stock wise are behind them NOW. HO HO HO
your already getting creamed of this gorilla portfolio and what if historical average prevail over the next 3 to 5 years?

You simply can't convince me that the gorilla "theory" is due for the junk heap.

It's good to hear your high tech testimonial. I hope to follow in your footsteps.

My testimonial comes from a different perspective. When I started working toward a bachelors degree in '88 the chemistry department at the university I attended replaced all the Macs in a matter of months. By the time I graduated in '92 virtually all the Macs were replaced throughout the entire university.

Then I went to grad school. Same process repeated itself and by the time I left in '95 there wasn't a Mac in the chem department.

Then I got a job at the best of the pharmaceutical companies (Merck:-) and began to hear rumors that other big pharma were dumping their Macs. Sure enough. It happened. Then we were told all our Macs would be replaced. A year later they were all gone.

See. I was Gorilla Gamed in real life and didn't even know it.
