Agree that it's overdue. I think they would've tried to soften the blow by warning ahead of time if it were coming this quarter. Guidance could easily still be shaky to worse, however....<G>

I love the Microsoft chart. It has its own rhythm. It's a rhythm apart from the Internet Mania that coughed up the blowoff out of the fall of 1999 and then subsequent, er, correction.

The fundamental side of that is how softie just underestimated the Internet. It was such a blindside for them, the sort of myopia that caught the auto industry got in the eighties with the introduction of good, fuel efficient cars from Japan.

Anyway, it's a nice chart. Oh yeah, the blowoff out of the fall of 1999 that doubled the NASDAQ, well softie hit its ATH when it started.
