If we accept that the
earth and the moon exist,

Good.

And if you accept that God exists, then you can draw conclusions from that acceptance, too.

"Why do some people find it so disturbing to admit that there are things we do not and cannot know?"

I don't know....That is to say that I don't know why some people do that, not that I don't know the truth about the human condition. That is not to say that I do know everything. I'd have to be all knowing to do that, and I'm not. I probably say, "I don't know" about fifty percent of the time when my kids ask me something. The human condition is fairly simple though. We have souls, which we are responsible for and principles of right and wrong which we are tested by. We are born that way. Still, that leaves a lot to not know and the finding out about things makes life fun, sometimes.

What is a "bot"? Looks human but operates like a robot.

People who claim to know the basis of the human condition, or the origins of the universe, or the nature of absolute "right" and "wrong" are generally using common sense. When they find it written down in a book the usually say, "see I knew it was something like that, it just makes sense." Now why when something is so simple do some people waste so much time trying to find an alternative explanation and insisting that principles of living are convenient inventions.
