Yes, Windows XP is the replacement for all previous versions of Windows. As of October 25th Windows 95/98/Me will be superseded by it. Windows XP Home Edition will be the default preload on virtually all new Windows PCs sold from then on. Windows XP Professional is the version of Windows XP which succeeds Windows 2000 Professional for business and "power users".
