Off topic - baseball ticket purchasing question -- if my wife and I know we will want to see a Los Angeles Dodgers game on a certain date in the future ...

Is it reasonable to assume that we can just show up at the baseball stadium on the day of the game, and purchase tickets (we do not care where we sit; and would actually prefer to be seated in the "el cheapo" section) ... for the normal price ...

As opposed to obtaining tickets right now, via the Internet, and paying so many levels of mark-up that we sort of lose all interest in attending the game ? (This was a question, way back ...)

In other words -- are there only a handful of games each season which tend to be a "sell-out" crowd ?

And -- if we go on one of those douchebag "promotion" days, do we risk a sell-out crowd ?

Thank you in advance.

We are not very well informed about beisbol around here ...

Jon.
