I think the issue more properly is gluttony....for humans.

I wish I was like my bird. He 'eats' what seems to be a lot of food but...

By 'eat' I mean grind into a fine powder whatever we give him (bird pellets, seed, popcorn, pizza, vegetables and so on). I would estimate that more than 9/10 of this powder ends up on the OUTSIDE of the bird with the 10% ending up in his gizzard.

On top of that.... the rate at which he looses what is IN the gizzard would suggest that it only stays in there for a few moments.

It would be messy if I was like this... but I might have less of a tub...
