Since you ask and if it is of interest, full time since 1989 [apart from a couple of years back at the coal face in the early 1990s]. Part time with increasing value since I was 17 in, heck, 1966.

Sure, I agree, there are many ways to invest. Sorry if you thought I was trying to push my way as being something you should adopt. It was just to explain why I'm interested in things 30 years from now. I hope to be still alive and kicking, so I need to have some idea of what might happen then.

I'm not really interested in 100 years from now. Too many absurdly unpredictable things will happen before then and it would only affect my grandchildren - they can solve those problems. They sure won't be getting any help from me by then [other than some artifacts and collected works of humans still operable].

PS: Re your other questions; no shorts. I'm all long and even with some borrowings to add to the fun. I don't think my personal stuff is that interesting so I think I'll not mention more.
