Glad I never listened to Joe Osha and I never bought a single share of TMTA stock. I just hate to see people get swindled.

Well, I guess that explains Osha's bearishness on INTEL. Maybe he was expecting Transmeta to be big competition for Intel.

Carl, re Osha, love this part: A favorite is Santa Clara (Calif.) upstart Transmeta Corp. (TMTA ), which makes chips that offer the most performance for the fewest volts in notebook computers and other electronic devices.

How many volts do they take, I wonder? 5, or 12, 115, maybe 220? Maybe 3 phase, 50 or 60 Hertz, or maybe 400 Hertz? Maybe a lightning strike 1,000,000 volts? Merrill Lynch should stick to financial stocks. Transmeta! I wonder how he rated Rise and Cyrix.

Tony
