From my point of view, the moderated RWET thread was formed because left-wingers try to pack all the other threads, such as the President George W. Bush thread. I've found this to be true in every political thread I've visited. I don't bother to search for threads with a left wing orientation and only found the Impeach thread by searching for Bush. The left wing threads are poorly attended because all the left-wingers are over trying to bait the conservatives. Conservatives are firm in their beliefs and don't need to haunt the left wing joints.
