06:22 ET Asian Markets : Nikkei -1.74%, Hang Seng -1.02% -- Asian stocks closed sharply lower as Japan fell for the third consecutive session. The Nikkei was weighed down by weakness in high tech shares. Fujitsu and NEC declined amid reports that the two firms will cut semiconductor output this summer to work off excessive inventory levels. Brokerage stocks were also hit, while even some of the defensives saw better selling. Hong Kong also closed lower, as the Hang Seng hit its worst level in three months with telecom stocks underperforming. While Taiwan was boosted by government buying, Singapore lost over 1% as exports plunged for the fourth straight month in June, falling 16.9% year on year.

Susieq, here is a great site for Euro/USD quotes. I guess I owe them a buck, hehe. This system J. Bozo created is like panhandling on the street.
