Paul A: It is a game, all right....it is a losing game. It is a pure crap-shoot as to where it will bottom before it turns up again. Meanwhile, if you guess incorrectly, you will stop out or your loss may be substantial before it bounces.

Consolidation, of course, will happen. But, only those companies with viable technologies that can give value-added to larger acquirers will be snapped up. I am not too sure of RBAK -- does it have a technology that potential acquirers are willing to invest 1 to 2 billion in? I think not. I do not see DSL being one of the "last-mile" solutions and think RBAK is a doomed company.
