Terry. Can't comment on cen Ohio RE generally.

Pretty strong in this neighborhood, however. Recent sales have shown good price appreciation vs similar sales just a year or 2 ago.

Probably means my taxes will be going up AGAIN next time the county reappraises everybody.<NG>

Terry, You didn't ask about Hawaii RE, but since I have some updated info I thought I would report FWWIW. I talked to a leading realator a few nights ago and questioned a builder last night. They both agree that there is a slight slow down in sales of houses in the 3-5K range because of overspeculation in this area by bulders recently. Anything under 3k will be sold in record time. A recent study showed that there is a need for 1,450 new houses on this island each year for the forseeable future, but they are only able to build about 500. Most new residents are apprently coming from northern California with plenty still coming from outside the US. P.S. Years ago when I lived in the upper midwest, I grew good okra in real sandy soil. Maybe your soil is too heavy. Best wishes, N1
