Sebl can make their numbers by matching last Sept earnings and earning less than they did last year in the Dec. quarter. Merq has to better their earnings by 22% in Sept. vs a year ago and 10% in December to make their numbers.

Why sebl was brought down and merq wasn't lowered much is beyond me. Maybe it was Tom's yapping about how gloomy the world is. I doubt Merq would be lower than it is now if numbers were lowered when it's competitor's warned.

Sucks since they're still growing and there are others who don't have the growth and will earn less than last year but beat the numbers barely and get upgraded... but that's the game we play I guess.

I'll be surprised if Merq can make it again this quarter given the sequential revenues needed and performance from last quarter. But who knows... maybe they have enough biz to be the one left standing... if so, I hope it's got 20% short interest in it and kills off everyone who doubted they'd be ok.
