Parts of that are a bit over the top. And part is fair. We have commented here in the past upon the nature of the Democrat secular religion; a glyph laden construct that incorporates socialism, hostility to Christianity in general and Catholicism in particular, envy of success, fanatical devotion to animal rights, earth worship, vegetarianism, heterophobia, extreme - anti-male - feminism, fear of competition and anti-individualism in an evil tasting brew that is lethal to the human spirit and condition. A great many Christians are liberals and Democrats. All Quakers I have known are liberals and favor the Democratic Party. Are they not Christians? If they are not, who is? Many Catholics are Democrats. Commonly, they do not agree with the Church's stand on birth control- -but that is true of a large fraction, maybe amajority of American Catholics. fanatical devotion to animal rights, earth worship, vegetarianism, heterophobia, extreme - anti-male - feminism Certainly true of some factions of Democrats. Just as certainly not all. Secular humanism is the weapon the NEA uses to turn your children against you. Nuts. "Establishment clause" be damned - it is the de-facto state approved religion So that which is expressly NOT religion becomes religion because they need it to be? Those in the media who argue for "diversity" and cleave to "tolerance" worship at this same church. That is certainly true. It never occurred to me there was a difference between those two. Frankly, I fail to see that patently false attacks on the positions of the opposition can do anything but destroy our credibility.
