Pay any buyer 50 cents for every dollar's worth of business they buy. Close the door. Turn off the lights.

Either that or explain to shareholders what this is all about.

They obviously made some very bad decisions in the businesses they bought. Is there any realistic exit strategy?

Write them off, cancel the projects, and fire the people. At least this is what Cisco is doing to return to a high profit margin.
