one bonus website for anyone interested in this mundane zeug

here is a website with a lot of stuff on the treaty of amsterdam which incorporated the schengen agreements into it. about 1/3 of the way down from the top is info on illegal activities, etc. i cannot find a document that specifically addresses search and seizure rights for germany or any other eu country, but i have not contacted an eu lawyer either (and won't). i promise i won't post anything else on this subject unless beseeched by multiple souls. in case someone wonders why i am posting, it is because a lot of illegal or non-tax-paid eu money is moving across the borders of eu countries into switzerland and liechtenstein, etc. to be turned into us dollars. people with such money have to get it out now, because soon after jan. 1, 2002, it won't be convertible anymore (i think it is 2 months later). some may speculate that this money is contributing somewhat to "extra" dollar demand in the world.
