Zeev, if as you propose, the bids disappear, it will only be because the MMs are just as frightened as the rest of us and have no stomach for stocks at any price. I do not find it inconceivable having experienced 1987 in a strong economy, but take consolation in the immortal words of Ted Jones, "...corn markets have failed, grain markets have failed but the stock market has never failed...and it never will." I doubt we will ever prove him wrong.

Warren Buffett said you should only own a stock if you can live with owning that stock even if the market were to shut down for five years. Given those parameters I suspect Ted will be given much leeway....<g>
