And so I will write about "social skills".. or the lack of, which is more appropo,,as I see so much in real life or on SI.. Socialability, is not "phony elitism" , but it is the ability to move with ease, back and forth, sideways,, etc, from a culture to another culture or whatever social environment.. AND WITH EASE, COMFORT, and CONFIDENCE, to experience it ALL, To gain and experience all of life.. Fortunately, a few of us can understand and can do it..but unfortunately, most can not.. and therefore get a distorted view of life.. I learned early, whether I was "shootin pool" and "drinkin beer" with the roughnecks, or having chardonndy in the executive suites, everybody was the same but with a DIFFERENT TWIST, a different view that could only be learned if the knowledge was gained first hand...psst...to let you on a litttle secret, the roughnecks were more fun and understood life better. Less of a strait jacket , you know.. Everyone's story, as is everyone, is just as important, whether you have goulash or shrimp salad (tossed lightly, with a touch of horse p!ss, if you please,,to give it that oh so special .... I liked both and still do.. And I think I am better for it.. For it is not what you get 2nd or 3rd hand through someone else's eyes, but through your own that you can only count on.. Because , unfortunately, I used to trust someone's else eyes and others.. I was led astray.. m
