I think using the USD as a market gauge may not be reliable... it makes sense a weaker USD could be bullish for US equities because a weaker dollar would help US exports, that's bullish... then foreign investors buy those dollars to invest in US markets, this would prop up the dollar... therefore, I don't know how one could use the dollar as a predictive tool, I don't think there is even a correlation between them.....IMHO

Big Question is how O'Neil and the present administration will deal with the dollar. So far they've left it alone, but being business oriented they may start working towards a lower dollar.

They do not want this country to reduce it's debt, and as the surplus shrinks the dollar will drop in value at some point. And then we have Japan....?

I don't see any significant change in the dollar...!

US Dow is in a serious consolidation pattern that's essentially neutral.... and Bullish for the long hawl.., unless some unexpected event alters the ground work.
