If you are good at microprocessors, there is not much help, either way, if you build micro breweries. Manufacturing motherboards, dram, routers, switches, innards for set top boxes, hand held devices - even if you do not make money directly - you could make money indirectly. I hate to use this example, but MSFT seems to leverage OSes very well - according to Judge Jackson. But ultimately, if you make money you are a genius and if you lose money you are an idiot.
