In fact, as long time denizens of this den of iniquity<g> know, even ole Iso has a two LT patch positions. LOILYs been an excellent performer this year and got no intention of sellin' the critter. My other LTer is an eastern US infrastructure play in Nat Gas that I rarely mention because it's so thinly traded. But you'll find that many of us here have been been "cycle traders" for years. It's not a flash in the pan strategy that we've been pumping as a lark here during the past few weeks or even since the beginning of 01'. I learned Intermediate Term work from some very talented market strategy folks at my old firm back in in the 1970s and the longer cycle play from another professional investor who acted as a wonderful mentor to me back in 1986. Do think you might want to reconsider your comments about the alternative we are presenting to you as "sitting in front of the computer screen all day". Art, that's hardly a fair characterization except for addictive Short Termers that you'll find among the Chihuahuas (on other threads) that Slider and I love to tweak.<G> These are the kinds of "black gold longs" that I'm referring to in my posts. The alleged hot traders who keep calling one bottom after another, getting wipsawed into new loses, and learning little if anything from the foolish exercise. These "toy clown dogs" have a posting record that reads like the ole GONG SHOW.<lol> Real LT investors are an entirely different breed. Big Dog comes to mind. He's always been welcome to post here and never been dissed by any of us. However, based upon my long background, as a broker with a top W.S. firm and (since 1986) as an independent professional investor I can only reaffirm what IMHO is the sound advice Slider and others of us have long offered to LT as well as other oil patch investors who read or contribute to this thread. And I promise you don't have to be chained to your computer all day.<g> No way I'd put up with that, Jose'. And Elvis, sure as shootin', wouldn't. Besides, we got a heck of a local fossil collection TO PROVE IT, TOO.<ggg> Best regards, Isopatch
