Teddy Roosevelt was one of the first "great" Statist presidents. Known as the "Trust-buster," he also held the conviction that the federal government was wiser than "the common man" and in one of his many infamous acts went to war with the Coca-Cola Company.

It got to a point that Coca-Cola sent out armed riders with their truckdrivers who were "illegally" crossing the Georgia state line to get their product to market in other states.

Coca-Cola's standing orders: "If federal agents try to stop you, shoot to kill."
