The coffee's pretty good here, and traffic's too busy (to cross road to that other diner. Also, some of the guys at the counter there have some foul mouths)-g

Did you catch BBoy on CN(BS)? Still loves to talk about those enormous productivity gains IN THE PRESENT TENSE STILL
(I guess, like most accounting procedures, it only works in the positive....when negative, ah, just forget it/write it off, off-balance sheet)

Yes, agree with most of what you are saying, but a leading diagonal should be clear 5 waves in the impulsive legs and that's tough to count for what we've had.

I see the market is now trying to regain this morning's technical breakdowns. That would give us breakdown failures and would be bullish on the day for sure. Let's see if it turns back down here at NDX 1692 or so -- that's a 38% retrace of the decline off yesterdays high.

Heinz, this is all jello in the timeframe outside the one I trade and that makes it very hard to read for us s-t guys.
