It's my hunch that MB is an animated, computer-generated virtual program host. Analysts would seem to have direct, unlimited access to the keyboard controlling the animated image and sound, because it's their view we invariably get from the virtual host. Because the technology is new, any effort to invest the animation with artificial intelligence would be bound to be disappointing. They have mastered the artificial aspect of it, it would appear, but intelligence remains a stumbling block. They need more processing power. I think they've tried to dedicate more resources to the animation, but they may have run into a short circuit with JK's virtual host program (actually, JK's pretty good -- more on the ball than some others).
