It puzzles me why Condit is not, quite frankly.


I'd say that he is. They just don't call him a suspect because you have to have an officially declared crime before you can have a suspect. You also legally lose the informal access you have to witnesses when you declare one a suspect. So they haven't.

Condit is not, quite frankly.

Because he's a powerful Congressman.

If he were a K-mart checker, he would be numero uno suspect big time.
